Description

Mapestrip 25B is a sodium bentonite based hydrophilic rubber strip specially designed to form watertight construction joints. The sodium bentonite swells when it encounters water to seal against leaks. Mapestrip 25B is ideal for variety of applications, including horizontal and vertical construction joints, through wall and slab penetrations, and transitions.

  • Swells in the presence of moisture to lock out water
  • Can be installed over damp or green concrete
  • Not affected by rises and falls in the water table
