Sheetrock® Brand Mold Tough® AR Firecode® X Panels (UL Type AR) are economical 5/8 in. Type X abuse-resistant gypsum panels with moisture and mold resistance. The panels feature a noncombustible moisture-resistant core encased in moisture- and mold-resistant face and back papers, and offer greater resistance to surface indentation and impact damage than standard 5/8 in. Sheetrock® Brand Gypsum Panels. When tested in accordance with ASTM D3273, the panels meet or exceed ASTM C1396 specifications. These panels are UL Classified for fire resistance and can be used in any UL Design in which Type AR panels are listed.
