Sto and Dryvit offer professional color tools to ensure the suitability of color choices across various applications and materials. The EIFS experts at Tamarack Materials and Lutz Company are here to help you understand:

  • Light reflectance values (LRV) – These vary by color and can have potential thermal efficiency implications. Darker colors (LRV >20%) are not recommended for EPS EIFS.
  • Total Solar Reflectance(TSR) – The reflection capability of a pigmented surface, represented as a percentage of solar energy reflected. Using pigments with low absorption allows dark color choices, reducing surface temperatures and maximizing longevity.
