Tamarack Materials offers full service and delivery within a ~100-mile radius from our yard locations in Minnesota, the Dakotas , Wisconsin, and Iowa.
Lutz Company also serves customers within a ~100-mile radius of our yard in Brooklyn Park, MN, offering a wide variety of EIFS products and other building envelope materials.
How are your crews trained?
We train and certify all operators in house, so they are prepared to deliver materials to your jobsite safely. We hold weekly safety training sessions for all employees, and we even offer a safety incentive benefit program for our stockers and warehousemen.
What type of fleet do you have?
Like our fellow GMS companies, Tamarack Materials and Lutz Company command a delivery fleet of expertly maintained vehicles, including flatbed trucks and boom trucks (for multi-story projects).
In total, the Tamarack and Lutz fleet includes some of the most innovative material-handling equipment in the Upper Midwestern United States.

Do you offer delivery outside of standard business hours?
Yes. If you need commercial construction jobsite delivery for your construction projects—before or after business hours or on weekends—our crews can do that, too. Tamarack Materials and Lutz Company are dedicated to going the extra mile and providing excellent customer service.
Do you offer commercial deliveries?
Our expert staff are fully trained for delivery to commercial construction sites throughout Minnesota, the Dakotas, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We can deliver your materials using walk-ups, walk-downs, elevator roll-ins, buck hoists, high-rise cranes, and boom trucks. Our delivery fleet is modern, well-maintained, and ready to deliver your materials when and where you need them.
Do you perform site inspections?
Yes. We regularly perform pre- and post-delivery inspections of jobsites to assess safety, stocking conditions, equipment, and quality control.
Do Tamarack and Lutz deliver to residential sites?
Yes. We use off-road drywall carts for sand and grass, and we can pre-deliver your drywall before your window installation if you need. We can also perform on-site delivery access evaluations.
Can you do a walk-up, walk-down, or hand-up at a residential site?
Yes. For a small additional charge, our expert staff can provide this value-added service to residential construction customers across MN, ND, SD, IA, and WI.
Can you special order a product for me?
Yes, Tamarack Materials can order many specialty products like Fry Reglet aluminum trim, Armstrong® Axiom ceiling systems, colored ceiling tile, non-stock FRP colors, and a variety of tools and fasteners. If you need an item that you don't see at one of our yards or on the website, let us know and we'll help get it for you.
Can you help me with my product warranty?
Absolutely! Our expert staff are happy to assist you with manufacturer warranty issues and manufacturer representation when necessary. At Tamarack Materials and Lutz Company, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases and our service.
What types of steel framing do you carry?
Tamarack Materials stocks 25-gauge to 16-gauge steel framing in a variety of lengths. We also offer full manufacturer support for all technical and engineering aspects of our steel framing and accessories.
Are Tamarack Materials and Lutz Company OSHA compliant?
Yes. We believe nothing is so important that it can’t be done safely. Tamarack Materials and Lutz Company are committed to compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations, and we conduct regular jobsite visits to check for crew compliance.
Can I pick up an order myself at a yard?
Absolutely! Local construction customers can “will call” orders in advance, or they can visit our yards to speak directly with our expert staff about specific needs. If you don’t see the tool or product you need, we will work with you to special order it.
